Kevin has been a Nurse Practitioner since 2007. After retiring with 26 years of active duty service in the Army, Air Force, & US Public Health Service, Kevin opened his own practice, Magnolia Psychiatry. Kevin is board certified and licensed as a Psychiatric and Mental Health NP and as a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner. He also has a Master’s in Public Health. Kevin has a passion for helping people. He sees persons throughout the lifespan from birth to end of lifespan for medical patients and 6 years old and up for psychiatry. He has extensive experience with women’s health, public health, and provides sensitive caring for patients identifying as LGBT-Q. His personal recreational interests include collecting art and antiques, and outdoor adventuring including Jeeping and camping, and building Legos (come see them at the Gosling location).
Kevin Stump
Tuoanh is at our Cypress location. She has been a nurse for 6 years. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University and recently became board certified and licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Northern Kentucky University. She has experience in mental health nursing, medical surgical nursing and orthopedic/neurosurgery nursing. She has always had a passion for psychiatry and mental health and knew that is where her passion lies. She sees patients 6 years and older and provides compassionate care for patients in the LGBTQ community. She is bilingual in English and Vietnamese. Apart from Magnolia Psychiatry, her interests include traveling, music, thrifting and spending time with her 2 dogs, Nala and Willow.
Tuoanh Nguyen
Chris is ANCC Board Certified in Psychiatric Mental Health as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She received her Master of Science in Nursing at Wilkes University in Pennsylvania and received both her Bachelors and Associate degrees in nursing here in Texas. Originally, she began her career in mental health nursing, but also has experience in neurology and critical care nursing in the catheterization lab, which she pursued to gain more experience and understanding of the human body in its entirety. Ultimately, she decided to go back to her passion, psychiatry, and mental health care.
She was born in Calgary, Canada but moved to the United States in 2004. She and her husband have raised two beautiful girls and have previously lived in Victoria, B.C. Canada, and Wisconsin before moving to Houston to complete her nursing degrees. Chris’s additional family includes three dogs, two cats and two hamsters! Her hobbies and personal interests include traveling, cooking, and reading. Chris has an extensive background in business management and customer care and will provide excellent patient-centered care. She treats patients 6 years and up and is sensitive to the LGBT-Q community.

Chris Kos
Cathy is ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She received her Master of Science in Nursing at Walden University after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She has nursing experience in dialysis, medical-surgical, psychiatric, and the ICU. Cathy responded to the call for help in NYC during their Covid crisis and recognized her desire to be in the mental health arena for the remainder of her career. Cathy recognizes the value of the patient-healthcare provider relationship and provides sincere, respectful patient-centered care to all. She sees patients 6 years of age and older.
Outside of work, Cathy enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, learning new crafts, ANYTHING OUTDOORS (fishing, hunting, hiking, boating), cooking, and working out when time allows.

Cathy Taylor
Jessica is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at the Spring/Gosling location. Before graduating with her master’s degree at Texas State University-Round Rock, she worked as a nurse for over 9 years in several specialties, including medical-surgical, home health, and psychiatric nursing, which has provided her opportunities to provide care for patients across the lifespan and with a broad spectrum of psychiatric disorders. She is currently affiliated with the American Nurses Association, American Psychiatric Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and Texas Nurse Practitioners. She is also a passionate mental health advocate and has previously volunteered at the Crisis Intervention of Houston and Walks for Mental Health Awareness. Through her warm and empathic approach, she strives to integrate each patient’s individual needs, strengths, and goals with evidence-based treatments toward a path of healing, improved well-being, and a more fulfilling life. Apart from Magnolia Psychiatry, she loves to explore new places, spend quality time with family and friends, lift weights, read, and learn.

Jessica Basa
Jennifer is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at our Spring clinic. She has over 12 years of nursing experience. During this time, she continued her education and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Capella University in 2020 and most recently graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington with her Master of Science in Nursing. Jennifer has a true understanding of the role mental health plays in our overall health and the importance it has at every stage in life.
During free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, biking, taking her dogs to the park, and watching movies.
Jennifer Atkinson
Allyson is an experienced nurse with 8 years in the field. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern Nazarene University and recently became board certified and licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Walden University. Throughout her nursing career, she has primarily worked as a pediatric travel nurse, which has allowed her to gain a wide range of experiences. It was during this time that she developed a passion for mental health. Allyson is known for her compassion and empathy toward each patient under her care.
In her free time, Allyson enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends, and her French bulldog. She also loves to travel, work out, spend time in nature, and cook.

Allyson Mercer
Dana is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She received her Master of Science in Nursing at Herzing University in Wisconsin. Dana has over 20 years' experience in nursing in several specialties, including psychiatry, ambulatory surgery, plastic surgery, endoscopy and med-surg. She has served in roles as a charge nurse and clinical coordinator throughout her career. Dana is passionate about mental health and uses a holistic approach to providing care to patients.
She was born in New Orleans where she previously worked as a psychiatric nurse for 6 group homes in the greater New Orleans area. Outside of work Dana enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. She is an active member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and is passionate about providing quality mental health. She sees children age 6 throughout the lifespan and is sensitive to the LGBTQ community.
