Ashley Arceneuax (Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner)
Ashley is an ANCC board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin, where she also received her Master of Science in Nursing. She also received her B.S. in psychology from Baylor University.
Ashley’s clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults across a variety of psychiatric settings. During her advanced practice training, she gained experience in the evaluation and treatment of ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, severe mental illness, and eating disorders. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Ashley worked as a registered nurse in both inpatient psychiatry and neurology, including serving as a charge nurse and house supervisor in a psychiatric intensive care setting.
Ashley values creating a collaborative and comfortable environment where patients feel heard and involved in their care. She believes in taking the time to understand each patient as an individual and providing thoughtful, evidence-based treatment tailored to their needs, goals, and circumstances. She especially enjoys patient and family education and helping people better understand their diagnoses and treatment options.
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with her fiance and friends, running, traveling, and hanging out with her very spoiled ferrets Bucatini, Fettucine, and Linguini.
Ashley will be at our new clinic opening soon on 7 Pines in Spring.
